Acceptable Use & Verification Vouching

Directory reviews, storefront verifications, and proximity vouching require active GPS confirmation. Submitting false data or attempting to bypass verification protocols is grounds for immediate account termination.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data you share with the movement.

GPS & Location Processing

Our proximity checks are processed client-side. The app requests GPS coordinates solely to verify your physical presence within 100 meters of a business when submitting storefront verification requests. Physical location coordinates are not persistently tracked or stored on our servers.

SMS Authentication & Registration

We use phone numbers solely for SMS verification to prevent database spam. Your credential data remains private and will never be shared with third parties.

Open Data Disclaimers

To support economic sovereignty and transparent access to public records, our maps compile listings sourced from various municipal open portals:

• Chicago: SODA Active Licenses Registry (Attribution: City of Chicago)
• New York City: SBS Certified Business List (Attribution: City of New York)
• Washington DC: DSLBD CBE Features Registry (Attribution: DC Open Data)
• Boston: CKAN Certified M/WBE Registry (Attribution: City of Boston)
• Geocoding services: Sourced via OpenStreetMap (OSM) Nominatim API.

Reciprocal Data Licensing Adherence

In compliance with open government databases, directory records derived from SODA/CKAN portals are shared under reciprocal open licenses (Open Database License [ODbL] or Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 4.0). You are free to share and adapt this factual listing metadata, provided correct attribution is maintained.
